Classic Tube Hat

This super warm double-layered tube hat is the best companion for the cooler days! It’s a really simple, seamless, no-fuzz knit that is elegant and classy.

The inside of the hat as well as the ribbing is knitted in a fine merino wool, the outer layer gets an additional silk mohair thread. This adds some luxurious feel, whilst keeping the tiny mohair hairs away from your face. You can, of course, knit this hat without mohair, but please do stick to switching needle size.

The hat comes in three different sizes, but is also easily adjustable to fit your needs. Have fun knitting!

Size 1 (2, 3), to fit a head circumference of 55 (57, 59) cm 21 1/2 (22 1/2, 23 1/4) inches

Gauge

Measured over lining, knitted with smaller needles, after blocking: 26 stitches is 10cm / 4”

Measured over outer layer, knitted with larger needles, after blocking: 26 stitches is 10cm / 4”

2 skeins of Knitting for Olive, Fine Merino (250m / 50g) (70-85g) 1 skein of Knitting for Olive, Silk Mohair (225m / 25g) (15-20g)

Yarn consumption includes a 10x10cm/4x4” swatch

Double pointed needles, size 2,5mm 30cm / 12”
